Resident Rooms
Each hospice resident has a large private room with a “smart” bed which provides many functions for the resident’s comfort and safety. Rooms contain a recliner chair that can be used by the resident or visitor, as well as additional seating. There is a queen size sofa bed that can enable loved ones to get their rest if it is necessary for them to stay overnight. There is a small fridge in the room to store the resident’s favourite items or for family to store food during their visits. Resident rooms have cable TV and free wifi. Each resident room has a two-piece bathroom and residents who are able can utilize our Spa Room for showering and baths. Each room has large windows, and we also have patio spaces to accommodate time outdoors. Residents are welcome to bring photos and mementos to decorate their space.
Meals
Our staff make effort to learn the dietary preferences of each resident which helps our Hospice Homemaker prepare home made meals. RHSP attempts to accommodate preferences and requirements to the best of our ability, however each room does have a mini-fridge if family want to bring in additional dietary items to supplement what we offer.
Laundry
RHSP provides all bed and bath linens for your stay in hospice. Laundering of personal items can be discussed on admission.
