The Annual Hike for Hospice is a major fundraiser for Rotary Hospice.
The 12th Annual Hike for Hospice fundraising event in support of Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth was held on Sunday, June 14, 2026.
Thank you to everyone who signed up, donated, volunteered, sponsored, and helped to raise over $137,000 for Hospice care in our community.
For Bill, the annual Hike for Hospice is more than a fundraiser – it’s a chance to honour loved ones, and connect with others.
“One year, visiting Prince Edward Island, we packed up the car, drove to the waterfront, and just started walking. We followed the boardwalk, wandered down side streets, and stopped whenever we felt like it. By that time, Lynn couldn’t walk far, so we took breaks, had lunch and COWS ice cream by the water. It became a really special day.”
Hike for Hospice 2026
The 12th annual Hike for Hospice was held June 14, 2026 and raised over $137,000.
Whether you hiked, pledged someone, donated a prize, promoted the event, or cheered on friends and family, we are so very grateful for your support.
My family and I have been hiking for Hospice over 10 years and it has been wonderful to watch it grow into the amazing event it is today. A day full of joy, laughter, remembering memory sharing and so much more. It is a privilege to be a part of this family fun event and an honour to walk in memory of those who are no longer with us, all while raising funds that allow Rotary Hospice to do the amazing work they do.

Our family is hiking in memory of our Dad, Ron, who passed away at Rotary Hospice on November 16, 2023. He and all of our family were treated respectfully and so well by this wonderful care facility.

We are walking in honour of Don Gibson, one of Gibson’s finest, who we said good bye to in November 2024. During his final days, Rotary Hospice wrapped our family in care, comfort and compassion. We are walking to give back to the place that gave us so much when we needed it most.
