Join us at the Stratford Perth Museum to walk the Tom Orr Trail, enjoy outdoor activities, and stay to join us for a BBQ lunch afterwards.
Please note: the trail is not paved and extends into a wooded area. It is a short trail of approximately 1km with kids' and nature activities to add interest. Accessible washrooms are on site.
If your preference is to participate virtually, you are most welcome to continue doing so! We would love to see your photos of your 'hike where you like' and share them on our social media pages. Please send them to Katie Stevens, Special Events Assistant at: firstname.lastname@example.org or use our hashtags #Hike4RotaryHospice #HikeforRHSP or tag us @RotaryHospiceStratfordPerth .
Hike is free! We welcome you to come and fundraise for our hospice.
Encourage your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to donate online using your personal or team fundraising page by sharing it on social media or by email. Those preferring to pledge with cash or cheque may wish to drop off the funds directly to you. Please add those to your paper pledge form so we can receipt them manually post-event.
Paper pledge forms: DOWNLOAD.
Please make cheques payable to Stratford Perth Hospice Foundation. These can be dropped off on event day at the Stratford Perth Museum, or can be mailed (with your pledge form) to:
Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth Hospice
80 Greenwood Dr., Stratford, ON N5A 0J1
Please do not send cash in the mail
Thank you for your commitment to Rotary Hospice and all those who walk through its doors. Hike for Hospice isn't just about how and where you will be hiking; it's about who you are hiking for.
Your Hike for Hospice Committee
This year, we're excited to offer two options for participation:
VIRTUALLY: as done the past two years;
JOIN US IN PERSON at the Stratford Perth Museum!
DO BOTH! Hike where you like and then join us on the Museum grounds for a BBQ lunch (and more) and a chance to collectively reflect, remember, and honour loved ones.
BBQ begins at 12 noon.
Register as a hiker, rally a team of friends and family, or challenge a co-worker, to help raise money for end-of-life care in our community. Whether you choose to walk, hike, run, cycle or jump on your treadmill, Hike is an opportunity to gather with family and friends, raise funds, and honour or remember the special people in our lives.
We are tremendously grateful to the following sponsors who have returned once again to support Hike for Hospice. Please remember to support those who support us!
